Finding Great Doctors That Care

You can not usually tell if you have a good doctor until after you see her or him for the first time. The way to know if your doctor is good or not is when you see him if he actually pays attention to you and listens to your problems. It seems more and more lately that doctors are becoming over worked because they are taken in too many patients and they can not handle it. They are rushing through the exams so they can get to the next patient. This is hardly fair, we all need doctors that want to listen and help more than he wants that money from all the patients he has.

There are some that even schedule over three patients in the same time period. When a doctor does that it is impossible for him to give all the patients the time they need to express their problems and for him to diagnosis a problem. Personally I like doctors that have fewer patients. They seem to take time to talk to their patients and get to know them. They do not just rush through an exam.

Doctors are an important part of this world. People would have no hope of survival without them. There are some doctors that dedicate their lives to saving as many human lives as possible. There are still going to be the ones who prefer to stay in it for the money. They may think they are doing what is best in their own minds but not in the peoples.

Most people want a doctor that takes the time to get to know who they are and what their medical history is. If you find a great doctor then stay with him. If you have a doctor that knows all of your medical history then he will be more likely to be able to save your life than one that does not know you.

I have personally had many experiences with great doctors and ones that were not so great. I almost died because of a mistake a doctor made. I also had a doctor save my life by finding a problem I did not even know about.

You can usually tell from your first meeting whether the doctor is paying attention to you or trying to rush to get to another patient. If that is the case then find another doctor. Keep looking until you find one you like.

You deserve the best possible treatment available. There is no reason to settle for someone that does not seem to care about your problems when there are plenty of them that do care. I understand that they have a very stressful job and I appreciate all that they do for everyone around the world.

I think if they just realized that the more patients they have the less attention they are able to give to each patient. Also remember that when a doctor says something you do not have to agree. If you think he is wrong then go see another doctor for another opinion. I think it best to seek another opinion if you disagree with your doctor.

When an individual is ill they should go and consult a physician. There are many different types of doctors who each focus in a specific field of medical practice such as paediatrics, or optometrist practice.
